The Twin Lakes Association of Rogers City, MI is a zoned residential community founded in 1970 by the American Central Corporation of Lansing, MI. At inception, the organization was made up of lot owners in the Huron Bluffs and Manitou Trails subdivisions. Pursuant to a judgment of the 26th Circuit Court of Presque Isle County, the formation of a separate association in 1990 by a group of lot owners in the Huron Bluffs subdivision was recognized. That judgement also affirmed title of the beach access to Lake Huron in Huron Bluffs is vested in the Twin Lakes Association. The 287 lot owners of the Manitou Trails subdivision remain members of Twin Lakes. The zoning classification is R-2 Medium Density Residential.
